You work as a data analyst in an Indian delivery company. Top managers want to expand the business to other countries in Asia, so they asked you to make a report about delivery time to compare the company’s performance with competitors.

Tasks

Compare two geographical coordinates by creating map charts. 3. Create a new DAX measure that calculates the median time that is taken for delivery. 4. Create another new DAX measure that calculates the average time for delivery in sunny and stormy weather conditions. 5. Create another new DAX measure that calculates the difference in average delivery time between ordinary scooters and motorcycles. 6. Use the newly created DAX measures in your dashboard by creating card visuals for each of them. 7. Provide Recommendations

Data Insights and Recommendations

RECOMMENDATIONS: 1. Based on the data extracted in the dashboard, the Average Delivery Time from the restaurant to the customer's address increases whenever there is a weather hazard, especially if the area is Fogged. Average Delivery Time Increases from 26.58 Minutes to 29.23 Minutes. The reason for the increase is that our Delivery Riders tend to slow down due to zero visibility caused by the fog; this is to prevent inevitable accidents, thus increasing the Average Delivery Time. 2. If we plan to expand our company to other countries, I recommend checking countries with low fog rates. This is to ensure that our per-agreed Delivery Time is being met, eliminating customer complaints and providing safety to our delivery riders. 3. Our peak time for orders is from Afternoon to Evening, with Friday being the day with the highest average delivery time. One of the factors is that Friday is the last day of work for most of the workers using our application; traffic congestion, especially in the Semi-Urban and Metropolis Areas, also contributes to the sudden increase in the Average Delivery Time on the specified time and day. 4. Our recommendation to lessen the Average Delivery Time is to assign more delivery riders during that peak period to alleviate and ease the average delivery time. Once the Average Delivery Time gets lessened, our food quality will be at its best, thus giving us a good delivery rating from our loyal customers.
